Major Morilak enlisted in the Army Reserve upon finishing High
School in 1985 and attended Basic Training and Advanced
Individual Training at Ft. Sill. He was then assigned to A Btry,
3-92 FA (8" SP) as a Cannon Crewman/Gunner. He was promoted to
the rank of SGT/E-5 before joining the University of Akron ROTC
SMP program as a Green-to-Gold Dedicated Reserve Forces
Scholarship recipient. He received his B.S. in Political
Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Akron in
1989.
Major Morilak was commissioned in May 1989 as a Military Police
Officer and attended the Officer Basic Course at Ft. McClellan.
Major Morilak attended the University of Baltimore Yale Gordon
Graduate School were he received his Master of Public
Administration, and the University of Baltimore School of Law
for his Juris Doctorate. Major Morilak has attended the
Military Intelligence Officer Transition and Military
Intelligence Officer Advanced courses as well as the Government
Contracts Law Course at the U.S. Army Judge Advocates Center &
School.
Major Morilak was promoted to his current rank on September 18,
2002; his military assignments include:

Major Morilak's civilian career includes four years as a DOD
Intelligence Officer, including two years as the Director of
Threat and Intelligence at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (U.S. Army
Ordnance Center & School), and five years in private law
practice in the areas of small business law, international small
business law, import/export regulation, and business immigration
matters with representatives in six foreign offices.
Major Morilak is currently on Active Duty at Headquarters,
Department of the Army and is not available as a Consultant.
